We have more Starfield Shattered Space expansion information, and it's a game changer
While Starfield was a polarising title when it launched last year, Bethesda has stuck by the ambitious space RPG with a host of free updates.
Now, as revealed at the Xbox Game Showcase, its first paid DLC is coming later in 2024. Shattered Space will add a host of new features to the game, including new enemies and weapons, and new planets to explore.
Here's everything included in Starfield's Shattered Space expansion
Shattered Space will launch later in 2024, although we don't have a concrete release date just yet.
It'll introduce plenty of new areas to explore, with the new trailer showing some gorgeous planets to explore, a couple of new alien enemies, and new weapons to experiment with, too.
Much of the gameplay shown in the trailer featured zero-G gameplay, which so it's likely the DLC will live up to its name sake with us exploring completely new corners of the galaxy.
An update for Starfield is releasing tonight
While the DLC might be a little ways away, there's a new update dropping tonight that will tide players over for a while. It promises to bring new locations, gear, bounties, and all-new modded content from the Creation Club.
In our Starfield review, we called it "an imperfect interstellar odyssey", and awarded it four stars out of five.
"To some, Starfield may feel like more of the same in space," we said. "To others, that’ll be exactly what they’re looking for."
"When you give it time to breathe, the game shows you its strengths and invites you to play the way you wish. Not all of its features work out but most do, and the control you have over your journey makes it an excellent trip all the same."
