How to find all the Geoglyphs for the Dragon's Tears quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

If you're finding locating all of the Dragon's Tear locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom just another thing to add to the list of Link's head-scratching activities, we've got exactly where you can find the Geoglyphs in TotK.
Across the sprawling realm of Hyrule in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can find special markings in the game - known as Geoglyphs - that house Dragon's Tears, which act like windows to the past to allow Link to view the history of Hyrule.
When found, cutscenes will trigger that drip-feed you small tidbits of the story to give you a better grasp of just what's going on.
So, if you're on the hunt for all of the Dragon's Tear locations in the latest Zelda installment, read on to find out where all of the Geoglyphs in TotK are.
How to find all the Geoglyphs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

| 1 - Hebra Mountains, Fortress | East of Rito Village, on the eastern face of a mountain - Find the tear in a concave section near the top |
| 2 - Eldin Canyon, Purah Pad | South of Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower, in plain sight from the tower |
| 3 - Southeast Hyrule Field, Dragon | West of Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, between two rivers. Find the tear in among the trees |
| 4 - Gerudo Highlands, Warrior | Between the two Gerudo Skyview Towers, on the southern side of a large ridge. The Tear is on the snow-capped level just below the top of the ridge |
| 5 - South Hyrule Ridge, Lady | Go south from Tabantha Bridge Stable, and climb up onto the Illumeni Plateau. You will find the Dragon's Tear near the people standing beside a balloon |
| 6 - East Necluda, Dagger | Curved beach in the southeast corner of the map. Go there and find the Tear at the centre of the bay |
| 7 - Tabantha Tundra, Headdress | Northeast of Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, the Tear can be found on the western side of the Geoglyph |

With that, you have found all twelve Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Geoglyphs and their corresponding Dragon's Tears.
How to start the Dragon's Tears quest
Click to enlargeThe first step on this journey to find the Geoglyphs in Tears of the Kingdom is to meet with Impa near the New Serenne Stable. From the front of the stable, go north into the field across the road. You should easily spot Impa on a platform beside a broken hot air balloon. From here, follow these steps:
- Speak with Impa, then repair her balloon to fly up with her
- Impa will tell you about the Geoglyphs, how they appeared all over Hyrule and that she has been studying them
- Next, drop back down to the Geoglyph and find the Dragon's Tear
- Interact with the Dragon's Tear to trigger a cutscene
- Impa will then tell you to meet her at the Forgotten Temple
- This location is directly north of the Geoglyph you are currently at, at the northern end of a giant ravine
- Head there and speak with Impa once more, then head further in to find a map of Hyrule, which shows the locations of the Geoglyphs
A Dragon's Tear can be found at each Geoglyph, which are small pools of water that appear when you get close to them.
While Geoglyphs are difficult to spot, if you look at all the tear shapes within the Geoglyph, one of them will be filled in - and that's the Dragon's Tear. What's more, this is the case for all of the Geoglyphs, so at each one, simply look for the filled-in tear shape to locate the Dragon's Tear.
How many Geogylphs are there in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
Click to enlargeWith your first Geoglyph in Tears of the Kingdom done and the Forgotten Temple visited, there are now 11 additional Dragon's Tears to collect, making for a total of 12 all in all.
At each Geoglyph location, you'll be shown another cutscene, and there is an order to them. Below is a list of the Geoglyphs, what the symbol is, and their locations in the chronological order of the cutscenes.
