Looking for the stables in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? The Hyrule of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is huge, meaning you will absolutely want a horse for getting around.
Stables are required if you want to keep your horse and bring it with you throughout the game's many regions, so here are all of their locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, including details on Lookout Landing's mini stable.

Stables in North Hyrule
Click to enlargeTo keep this list from being too long, we're going to separate the map into two halves. These are the stables in the northern half of Hyrule, roughly everything north of Lookout Landing.
This includes the incomplete stable at Lookout Landing. This stable becomes available later, as we have detailed below.

Stables in South Hyrule
Click to enlargeIf you are travelling south, these stables in the southern half of Hyrule will make for great stops on your journey. They range from the desert of Gerudo to the grasslands, the wetlands, the mountains, and even the sea.

The total number of stables in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is 17. This number includes both of the mini-stables, which can be found in Lookout Landing and on the Diggdog Suspension Bridge.
How to find stables in Tears of the Kingdom
Stables appear all across Hyrule, so you are never too far from one. If you are searching for a stable, look for the smoke. Each stable has a large pillar of smoke emanating from its giant horse-shaped chimney, making them easy to spot from a distance.

How to unlock Mini-Stable in Lookout Landing
Click to enlargeWhen you first reach Lookout Landing, chatting with Lester at the incomplete stable will reveal that there are plans to build a mini-stable at Lookout Landing. This will take some time, so you need to head off on your adventure. Once you complete one of the four locations that Purah sends you to, return to the mini-stable to check the progress.
When you return, Lester and Karson will be in the process of building the mini-stable. They need help, so use your Ultrahand to finish the construction for them. Once this is done, the mini-stable will become available. You cannot do everything here that you can at a full stable, but you can register and take out your horses here.
