A new year of Call of Duty action means that we're throwing away all of the Operator skins that we had last year and are starting from scratch (Warzone-aside).

Black Ops 6 will put an end to the continuation of Modern Warfare characters and blueprints, giving us a new set of faces and outfits to enjoy.

Despite Treyarch reiterating that Black Ops 6 will be mil-sim heavy from the get-go, fans are now taking the opportunity to see what new Operators could come, all as we move on into the '90s.

During Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty went to town on the crossovers, giving us the likes of Rambo and John McClane to really spice up the '80s genre.

So, with this year's Gulf War setting moving the decade slider one over to the '90s, fans are now speculating that this era will also bring out some quite brilliant crossovers.

Taking to a Reddit thread, one person posed the question of "BOCW had 80's action heroes (Rambo, Die Hard, etc.) and MWII had 50 years of hip hop (Snoop, Nicky and 21), what kind of crossovers and events do you foresee [for Black Ops 6]?

The most popular answer came in the form of Sarah Connor, who would be a fun addition to the lineup given that we did get Terminator at one point too.

Others included Men in Black (which could include Agent Jay and a Frank pet buddy), Rush Hour, Pierce Brosnan's James Bond, or what about sports stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin and Michael Jordan?

Another suggestion was along the Halloween lines, which is usually the first crossover attempt given an annual Call of Duty, given that the game launches a mere week before. The likes of Ghostface, It, and The Silence of the Lambs could all be popular choices there.

For now, Black Ops 6 will want to familiarise you with the new Campaign lineup: Felix Neumann, Sevati Dumas, Jane Harrow, and the main man, Troy Marshall. After that, maybe let's talk about adding a Jurassic Park collab with a topless Jeff Goldblum.
