Finding the best Sniper loadouts in Modern Warfare 3 Season 3 Reloaded is essential for anyone who loves the marksman playstyle and insta-killing foes with a single well-aimed shot.

While SMGs and Assault Rifles are more forgiving in the majority of engagements, a Sniper in the hands of a talented sharpshooter feels impossible to counter as your enemies are dead before they can even react.

Whether you're an OG quick-scoping fan or someone who prefers holding down power positions and picking off foes from afar in the game, there's a deadly set-up for you. So, let's break down the best meta Sniper loadouts in MW3, so all of your rifles are optimized to be as strong as possible in multiplayer.

Best Modern Warfare 3 Sniper Rifles, ranked

5. KATT-AMR

Best KATT-AMR loadout

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
  • Optic: SZ Bullseye
  • Stock: Tactical Stock Pad
  • Bolt: Ephemeral Quickbolt
  • Rear Grip: Phantom Grip

Bulky, slow, and hard-hitting, the KATT-AMR is a .50 Cal bolt-action Sniper that packs a punch from long-range in Modern Warfare 3. While damage output will never be an issue for this weapon, mobility is definitely a weakness and can result in the gun feeling sluggish.

The build above does do a good job of adding a boost of manoeuvrability and extra ADS speed reduction for the weapon, but ultimately, this weapon is built for one-shotting. Anyone who hates hitmarkers should consider using the KATT-AMR.

4. KV Inhibitor

  • Muzzle: Shadowstrike Suppressor L
  • Barrel: Kastovia JEK-40
  • Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
  • Rear Grip: Demo TL20 Recoil Grip
  • Optic: KR Intlas LSJ-3

The KV Inhibitor is a semi-automatic Sniper that's extremely easy to use thanks to its low recoil and minimal kickback. All this comes together to create an incredibly consistent rifle that may not be top-tier in the damage department, but will always deliver in mid-range skirmishes.

Long-range hit markers may cause some frustration, but if you're a player who wants a great starter weapon to jump into the world of sniping, the KV Inhibitor is a great choice.

3. XRK Stalker

Best XRK Stalker loadout

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Barrel: Handler LKP Short
  • Bolt: XRK Stalker Light Bolt
  • Optic: SZ Bullseye

The XRK Stalker has risen to the upper echelons when it comes to Sniper Rifles in MW3 following its arrival in Season 1, as it brings the sheer power of .50 cal rounds that will never let you down in a gunfight.

While mobility isn't its biggest strength, the weapon can be built for the fast pace of multiplayer with a speedy ADS time and solid movement. This paired with the gun's deadly damage and you've got an extremely potent sniper.

2. MORS

Best MORS loadout

  • Barrel: Downfall Light Barrel
  • Optic: SZ Bullseye
  • Underbarrel: SL Skeletal Vertical Grip
  • Rear Grip: OP-980 Grip
  • Stock: Icarus Light Stock

The OG competitors who were around for the Advanced Warfare days will be very familiar with the MORS, and it's made its highly-anticipated return in Season 3.

Delivering unrivalled velocity and one-hit potential, the MORS is an absolute monster that's capable of wiping out foes in the blink of an eye.

In terms of the setup above, it aims to keep the gun's ADS time incredibly low, while also retaining the trademark firepower the sniper is known for.

1. Longbow

Best Longbow loadout

  • Laser: Corio Laz-44 V3
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: DR-6 Handstop
  • Barrel: PRO-99 Long
  • Conversion Kit: JAK Tyrant 762 Kit

Sitting comfortably at the top of our list, the Longbow is a powerhouse in nearly every department. The gun can be built for raw damage output, or designed to excel at quick-scoping, and that's exactly what we've done above.

With some adjustments to the Stock and Rear Grip attachments, you can equip the Longbow with impressive mobility. I always feel confident bringing the Longbow into any match, as it truly excels within pretty much any scenario.

So, if you want to relive your classic quick-scoping days from MW2 (2009), I believe the Longbow should be your choice in Season 3 Reloaded.
