Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh accidentally leaks two new Legendaries
Ah, the Sinnoh region. A location that's incredibly close to our hearts. The playground that gave way to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl is an iconic one, and it has stood to many as a high-point for the monster-catching series.
Of course, we returned to Sinnoh during the feudal era in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and as Pokemon GO gets around to celebrating the historical adventure, we'll get to see it all over again. Funnily enough, it seems that we've seen more than we were meant to at this stage.
Pokemon GO accidentally leaks new Dialga and Palkia forms
As reports have shown on Reddit, it seems that Pokemon GO itself has accidentally revealed that the new forms of Dialga and Palkia that appeared in Pokemon Legends: Arceus are set to come to the AR game.
The website for the game's upcoming Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh event is now officially live, and it sees as though it did so without Niantic being ready for it. The site apparently came with new images, including one that was almost immediately removed.
It didn't come down quick enough to avoid being snatched up by eagle-eyed fans, and as the image showing off Origin form Dialga and Palkia is spread across the internet, it becomes more and more clear that the forms themselves simply weren't meant to be in our hands yet. Whoops.
When are Origin Dialga and Palkia coming to Pokemon GO?
It's safe to assume that the two new versions of the Pokemon will be available in a similar time frame to their original appearances - which will be coming during early 2024's Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh Global (don't worry, the Los Angeles event is a different thing altogether).
The event begins on February 24 and ends the following day for all Pokemon GO players, with no payment required to get involved. We've clearly got plenty of catching to do. Let's do the polite thing and pretend to be surprised when Niantic officially reveals Origin Dialga and Palkia.
