New stats reveal Jedi: Survivor difficulty pickrates, and they might surprise you
Jedi: Survivor has been keeping prospective space wizards very busy among the incredible swathe of AAA games that Spring has seen. Even though we saw the launch of Resident Evil 4 and this week has seen the gates open for Diablo IV and Street Fighter 6 fans, some players simply can't disengage from the fantasy that stepping into the boots of Cal Kestis can bring.
But even though the fantasy is there, it looks like players don't want to take on the dangers that it offers, as many players have opted for the lowest difficulty option.
Jedi: Survivor players have chosen the easiest difficulty over the hardest
A new statistic infographic has been shared on the EA Star Wars Twitter account, and it has revealed that the majority of players would much rather play the game on a lower difficulty than a higher one.
The graphic has indicated that 14.5% of players would rather opt for the 'Story Mode' difficulty, which is the lowest difficulty. This is in strong contrast to those who picked the top-dog 'Jedi Grand Master' difficulty, which has a pickrate of only 4%. This has thrown a spanner in the works for many gamers that argue that difficulty is a necessity in games, as it has been proven that gamers don't really want that at all.
It's an interesting stat that has seen players fighting in the replies, but the numbers speak for themselves. Don't tangle yourselves up for no reason, difficulty weirdos!
489 players have been killed by Rick the Door Technician
Among the other statistics that have appeared in the new infographics from EA is the revelation that Rick the Door Technician, the game's mock-boss who can be killed in a single hit, has killed 489 players. For shame.
Still, players seem to have made up for it by having killed 2,855,586,942 enemies, if you can imagine that it offsets the embarrassment of being killed by a door tech.
