Google Search mobile-first indexing. It will be default by this September

Google has announced that from this year’s September. It will start mobile-first indexing for all websites. This has been in testing since a year. Google has decied to do so because people search more on smartphones than desktops and laptops. That’s why the company has taken this movie forward.

Google started expermenting this movie in 2016 for first time, and since than it has been doing so. In 2018 the company made most of its web searches as mobile first. And in 2019 (Previous year) it has been indexing most the new websites as mobile first indexing.

Company also recommends webmaster that while they support every type of website design, but still they recommend webmasters to make their site mobile responsive. It has recommended website owners to not use separate mobile URLs (often called “m-dot”) because it causes issues for both search engines and users.
