All Golazo players in EA FC 24, from Lampard to Puskas
The latest promo in EA FC 24 will be the Golazo promo, and it follows the extremely popular Birthday promo that lasted two weeks. This is the first time this promo has featured in the game, but looking at the recently released squad this is a very special group of cards.
What makes the promo so unique, especially when it’s compared to others, is that there are only Heroes and Icons featured in this squad. We saw a similar promo last year called Trophy Titans, celebrating the legendary careers of pros from the past. It means that whenever you see a special card in one of your packs over the next week they’re guaranteed to be a legend from the past.
Team 1 Golazo players released in EA FC 24
- Johan Cruyff (Icon/Netherlands)
- David Ginola (Hero/France)
- Xabi Alonso (Icon/Spain)
- Bobby Charlton (Icon/England)
- Ashley Cole (Icon/England)
- Cafu (Icon/Brazil)
- Al Owairan (Hero/Saudi Arabia)
- Birgit Prinz (Icon/Germany)
- Jurgen Kohler (Hero/Germany) x2
- Dimitar Berbatov (Hero/Bulgaria) x2
- Clint Dempsey (Hero/USA) x2
- Enzo Francescoli (Hero/Uruguay) x2
Some of the above cards that have been introduced have two versions, one of which is considerably better than the other one. I’ve already fully prepared myself for packing the lesser version of one of these cards, if I even pack one at all.
Cruyff and Ginola are the two most valuable cards released during this promo, although it has introduced some well-needed boosts to other cards like Berbatov and Prinz. I am desperate for some defensive reinforcements, so that’s what I’ll be aiming for - although I’d never say no to a Cruyff or Charlton.
Team 2 Golazo players released
- Ferenc Puskás (Icon/Hungary)
- Jairzinho (Icon/Brazil)
- Didier Drogba (Icon/Ivory Coast)
- Nemanja Vidic (Icon/Serbia)
- Kaka (Icon/Brazil)
- Roberto Carlos (Icon/Brazil)
- Vialli (Hero/Italy)
- Ivan Cordoba (Hero/Columbia)
- Frank Lampard (Icon/England)
- Tomas Rosicky (Hero/Czech Republic) x2
- Park Ji Sung (Hero/South Korea) x2
- Harry Newell (Hero/Australi)
The new team is arguably better than the first, with the most valuable additions going to be Puskas and Jairzinho. Saying that, all the players look good enough to at least use in the game. Once again, some of the cards have two iterations introduced just like in week 1.
