The arrival of the Season 3 reloaded update marks the addition of a new Warlord known as Rainmaker. Like other Warlords in the game, Rainmaker can be considered one of the main bosses you can encounter by navigating through a series of challenges.

However, you won’t find Rainmaker’s location marked on the Modern Warfare 3 Zombies map, which is why I’ve put together this comprehensive to help you find this new Warlord in the game.

The Warlord Rainmaker spawns at his fortress on Rahaa Island in the southeastern Urzikstan Exclusion Zone. However, it’s worth noting you won’t find Rainmaker alone around at his spawn location. Instead, he’s supported by an army that he’s only willing to summon in pursuit of eradicating Operation Deadbolt.

As a result, if you’re planning to challenge this new Warlord in Modern Warfare 3 zombies, make sure to plan your tactics carefully when approaching this artillery and demolitions expert.

When you approach the Rainmaker’s fortress, you’ll be greeted with mortar rounds and RPG fire that deals significant damage and might wipe out your entire squad in a single blow.

Therefore, I suggest bringing reliable transport vehicles followed by long-ranged support to destroy the enemy’s frontline and whittle down the rest from a safe distance. However, during my playthrough, I found various hidden traps, such as mines installed near Rainmaker’s fortress - that’s another threat you should take care of as soon as you enter the site.

To effectively take down Rainmaker’s soldiers, I advise carrying the new Dead Wire Detonators that electrify the damage effect. You can combine it with the Dead Wire Ammo Mod effect, which is helpful when facing off against the Dark Aether Rift’s new Disciple variant.

Once you breach fortress walls and corner Rainmaker, you’ll run into tripwires, and activating them at this point would be unfortunate. The final thing that you should remember is that Rainmaker can deliver unexpected surprises that might hinder your plan and send you back to the lobby.

Defeating Rainmaker will reward you with rare loot, which makes it a high-risk, high-reward encounter. So make sure to bring a well-coordinated squad to the battlefield.
