How to find & beat the Flux Construct 2 boss in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
One of the tougher boss battles in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's open world is the Flux Construct 2. Its weak point is fairly difficult to access, and its attacks can be brutal. It will also leap far up in the air at some point. Here's how to beat the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Flux Construct 2.
Where is the Flux Construct 2?
You'll be able to find a Flux Construct 2 underneath Hyrule in the Depths. It's north of the Usukaz Lightroot, which is just below the chasm west of Mount Lanaryu Skyview Tower. You'll see a tower spinning with a red light on it. Approach the strange object and it will turn into the mighty boss.
Before attempting the Flux Construct 2 boss, you should get a lot of bows and arrows. It will be a tough fight, so you'll want to gather some Attack Up potions and make some effective meals at the cooking pot. You'll want to get some Bomb Flowers too.
- The Yiga armour set makes Link super stealthy.
How to defeat the Flux Construct 2 boss
The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Flux Construct 2 is difficult to deal with. It's not as easy as the first Flux Construct Core. As you avoid its attacks, you'll first want to wait until it slams its fist down. It will tire and stop in its tracks. This is the best chance to shoot the cracked green cube with an arrow.
After enough damage has been taken, the Flux Construct 2 raises to the air. It will throw its slab blocks towards you. Avoid them and then summon your Recall ability. Get on top of one of the blocks and then Recall. It will take you up close and personal with the green cube. Slash it with one of your best weapons.
The next phase may remind you of Super Mario 64. It turns into a big box that moves and rotates. Look out for the green cube and shoot it with your bow and arrow when you have a good opportunity.
The last phase is the most difficult. The green cube is hidden in the middle of its chest, making it difficult to hit. Attach a Bomb Flower to an arrow and then shoot towards this area. The explosion will hit its weak point. Continue this strategy until it's defeated.
For your efforts, you'll get a Flux Construct 2 Core, which has 20 Fuse Attack Power. It looks cool as it grinds its gears like clockwork.
