How to get the infinite knife in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Whilst the Resident Evil 4 Remake offers a host of powerful weapons to choose from, the most useful in many situations is the Combat Knife. The only issue is that knives in the Resident Evil 4 Remake break often and you'll need to spend precious pesetas to fix them again.
If you're looking to get the infinite knife, a knife capable of dealing significant damage without fear of breakage, read here.
How to unlock the infinite knife
The only knife that can become infinite and essentially unbreakable is the Primal Knife. The Primal Knife is the reward for finding all 16 Clockwork Castellans, the waving Ramon statues found in various chapters of the game.
Once you have destroyed all 16 of the statues, you will unlock the Primal Knife as a reward. To collect it, go to the main game title menu and select the 'Extra Content Shop'. Here, the Primal Knife will be unlocked, you can then get it in your game in exchange for 1,000 CP. Redeem the knife here and it will appear in your storage at any typewriter.
Once you have the Primal Knife, it can be upgraded by the Merchant to be infinite. It can only be done so once you have unlocked the 'Exclusive Upgrade'. This can be unlocked by either upgrading all other upgrades on the knife first or by purchasing the 'Exclusive Upgrade' ticket from the Merchant in return for Spinel.
