You'll need to input three symbols to unlock the cliffside gate and advance towards the church.

How to unlock the stone dais in Resident Evil 4
The solution to this puzzle is to press the correct three symbols, it doesn’t matter which order you do it in.

The correct symbols will be painted in yellow across the cliffside.
