Entire FIFA 23 World Cup Mode Leaked Early By EA
EA's offside trap hasn't worked this time around, as FIFA 23's high line has been penetrated by a through ball that's led straight to the World Cup mode.
Having previously revealed that a World Cup game mode will be slipped into FIFA 23 in November - to celebrate the global competition that is being held in the winter for the first time ever - fans have been keen to know how they will be able to support their country within the game.
Now, with time ticking down until the first ball is rolled out in Qatar, EA has accidentally leaked the World Cup game mode early
FIFA 23 World Cup Game Mode Leaked On Playstation
A range of FIFA 23 fans have now found a not-so-secret way of accessing the World Cup mode which is already built within the game.
FIFA YouTuber "FUT Mentor" has found a way of manipulating the PlayStation menus and achievements to load into the World Cup mode and begin browsing the HUB.
With four ways to play (FIFA World Cup Live, Kick Off, Online Tournament, and World Cup 2022), it appears that there is a whole host of ways that EA will be exploring content during the global event.
FIFA 23 World Cup Playlists Leaked From Within Game Mode
Fans will be quite familiar with Kick Off by now, having been a staple of FIFA play since it was first launched. The exhibition game mode will be joined by World Cup Live though, which is speculated to allow you to play the real-life fixtures and see how they unfold. It should also match your rounds to the actual WC results - almost akin to a fantasy draft type of approach.
The final single-player mode will be the FIFA World Cup 2022, which plunges you into the path of your chosen nation and allows you to play through the tournament. The Online Tournament appears to be a way of hosting your own custom event or joining a long list of fixtures against random opponents.
Unfortunately, this savvy workaround to access the mode doesn't allow you to physically play it, and we'll have to wait a few weeks for that opportunity.
