How to get powers in Starfield
Getting powers in Starfield requires you to find them in specific temples, but there are some criteria before jumping to this step.
Firstly, you need to finish the Into the Unknown main quest mission for Constellation. This is the first quest where you will be exposed to Starfield powers as you locate Temple Eta, and isn't very far into the main questline.
After getting the Anti-Gravity Field power and finishing Into the Unknown, you can now look for other temples across the Settled Systems for more powers, with each temple giving you a specific power.
The next Constellation mission, Power From Beyond, will point you toward another new power, but you can find any temple from this point.
