The official Fortnite Twitter has posted a graphic finally confirming a Naruto crossover is coming to the battle royale soon.

What Is The Naruto Fortnite Crossover?

The Fortnite collaborations just don't stop coming, as Epic's behemoth continues to join forces with all manner of franchises. This year alone, the game has featured crossovers with Dune, Star Wars, The Walking Dead, and Batman (twice!).

Now worldwide anime sensation Naruto can be added to that list, as the Fortnite Twitter made the announcement that it's coming on November 16.

The Tweet features a graphic of a blue sky, the logos for Fortnite and Naruto Shippuden, and the word 'believe it!' plastered across the middle. This comes after a whole year of datamining, leaks, and rumours that a Naruto crossover would be happening.

There is no official word yet on what capacity the collaboration will come in, but it's safe to bet on a bundle that will feature some skins, emotes, and other Fortnite goodies.

How Long Has The Naruto Crossover Been In The Works?

A Naruto crossover has been long-requested by fans of Fortnite, and it's not the first time we've heard it could happen. The first rumours came out as part of the Apple and Epic Games lawsuit, in which a presentation document was made public that featured information about an Uzumaki skin.

Since then there has been a number of dataminers that have found both explicit and covert references to the franchise, ranging from weapon names directly from the show to vague code names.

The famous Naruto run was even added at one point in the past, and we've had plenty of rumours of a full on anime-themed battle pass, set to release sometime this year. Whether that's still happening, or it's just a Naruto crossover for now is currently up in the air, but we're sure to find out on November 16.
