MW3's Equipment may not be the most exciting aspect of a loadout, but they're incredibly useful tools in multiplayer for taking your performance to the next level. Being aware of every Tactical and Lethal in MW3 is important, as it will give you the best chance at creating top-tier loadouts that fit your style of play in the game.

Whether it's Battle Rage for aggressive SMG players, or a classic Grenade for flushing opponents out of cover, it comes in handy in MW3. So, without further ado, let's check out every Tactical and Lethal in Modern Warfare 3, so you're familiar with the whole Equipment list.

Here's a full rundown of every piece of Equipment in MW3, and exactly what they each bring to your loadouts:

Tactical Equipment in MW3

  • Stun Grenade - Slows enemy movement and aiming
  • Decoy Grenade - Counter-intel grenade that simulates gunfire, movement, and radar signatures to confuse the enemy
  • Snapshot Grenade - Provides a momentary glimpse of enemies within the blast radius for your team or squad
  • Shock Stick - Electrical device that sticks to surfaces and electrocutes enemies, destroys equipment and causes vehicles to go haywire
  • Stim - Military stimulant that promotes clotting to close wounds quickly and refreshes Tac-sprint
  • Tear Gas - Explodes on impact with the ground, releasing a lingering cloud of tear gas causing slowed movement, blurred vision, and coughing
  • Flash Grenade - Blinds and deafens targets
  • Battle Rage - Experimental equipment that gives you an adrenaline rush and health regenerates quickly, Tactical equipment is resisted and Tactical Sprint is constantly refreshed as well
  • EMD Grenade - Applies a tracking device to enemies hit, revealing them on your team's minimap
  • Smoke Grenade - Deploys a smoke screen that blocks vision and automated targeting systems
  • Scatter Mine - Throw a field of mines across a wide area that detonates when enemies come within range

Lethal Equipment in MW3

  • Frag Grenade - Cookable fragmentation grenade
  • Claymore - Proximity-activated explosive mine
  • Throwing Knife - Retrievable throwing knife that is level on impact
  • Thermite - Explosive incendiary device that sticks to all surfaces
  • Proximity Mine - Proximity-triggered explosive that launches in the air, and deals heavy damage to the surrounding area
  • Drill Charge - Charge with a thermal lance that can burrow into surfaces before exploding
  • C4 - Large explosive that sticks to surfaces and can be detonated remotely
  • Throwing Star - A swift and deadly throwing star that inflicts a wounding effect on a target
  • Breacher Drone - Explosive drone that explodes in proximity to an enemy or impact.
  • Semtex - Timed sticky grenade.
  • Thermobaric Grenade - Creates a large explosion that stuns, leaves a fiery residue, and increases the lethality of explosives for a period of time

Remember, although there will be Equipment that is considered meta in MW3, it's often best to pick the Lethal and Tactical that best fits your personal play style.
