What Shrines do in Rise of the Ronin & how to find them
Shrines are one of the many open-world activities you can interact with in Rise of the Ronin’s vast open world, but considering how much there is to see and do you may be wondering what they do and how you can find them. The Shrines are going to be well worth seeking out when playing the game, but it may not initially be clear why.
This latest PlayStation game is set in 19th Century Japan, and when finding a Shrine the character will take a moment to pray before moving on. Below, I've listed what you need to know about Shrines, including every region they can be found in.
What Shrines do & how many there are
When interacting with a Shrine in the world you will earn a fresh Skill Point to spend on levelling up, meaning that the 21 Shrines will directly translate into 21 Skill Points. On top of this, completing them will also increase your regional bonds earning more rewards in the game.
How to find Shrines & where are they?
Fortunately, the more you explore an area, the more items that will appear on your map and there are Shrines in 21 of the 22 different areas of the map.
