The Mastery Camo grind in Call of Duty will never match that seen in 2019, when the new age of Modern Warfare brought us Damascus.

Before then, Gold and Diamond were the only grindable camos and became the best way to flex how serious of a grinder you are with your gun in hand. But MW2019 flipped that script and gave us a whole new way to have elite weapon designs, with the method returning ever since.

Sledgehammer Games has now taken the opportunity in Season 4 to give players a wealth of new camos, seven of which will be celebrating Pride, and a final Mastery camo will be paying homage to MW2019.

Hot off the back of Season 3 Reloaded's Prestige Mastery camo, Season 4 is continuing its promise to have even more elite rewards for the real grinders.

Season 4's Prestige Mastery Camo is rather familiar, though, with Obsidian returning from Modern Warfare 2019.

The deep black, rock-like weapon wrap was one of the more beloved camos in the game. It was maybe only overtaken by Damascus and populated Warzone weapons for three years.

Similarly to last Season, those who want to unlock Obsidian on their favourite guns will need to earn 200,000 XP, which Double XP tokens and events can pad.

Obsidian won't be the only glimmering look landing in MW3, as Call of Duty will celebrate Pride month with a range of glittery camos.
