The Cutting It Close mission is a Tier 2 mission for the Shadow Company faction. The single objective of this mission is:

How to find a Rescue Hostage Contract
Click to enlargeThe first thing you'll have to do is to find a Rescue Hostage Contract. These are available on all maps and marked with a handcuffed sign. Go to the location and activate the contract. Then, go to the hostage's presumed location, eliminate the enemies, defuse the bomb, and secure them.
How to extract a hostage at Final Exfil
For this mission specifically, wait a few minutes before the final exfil and then do the Rescue Hostage contract. Bringing a squad is highly recommended for this. When you are done securing the hostage, go towards the final exfil location. Generally, it is easy to predict the final exfil location based on where the radiation gas is spreading from. Once you find that out, extract quickly with the hostage, preferably with a vehicle.
Once the exfil chopper lands put the hostage inside and defend the area from other operators trying to leave. This can be very hard as at this stage, the operators are generally very well-armed. Soon, the chopper will be up in the air and will leave the map. Then, the mission will be completed and you will be rewarded.
