The Alpha Decay mission is a Tier 5 mission given by the Shadow Company faction. The objectives of this mission are:
- Drill open the secured safe in the Vondel radiation.
- Find and extract the gas canister inside.

How to find the secured safe in the Vondel Radiation Zone
Click to enlargeThe first thing you must do for this mission is find the Vondel radiation zone. This will be quite easy to find as a big yellow radiation sign on the map marks it. Before going there, make sure you have enough gas masks and radiation blockers equipped. Otherwise, you will start to lose a lot of health when you enter the zone. Afterwards, search for a secured safe within the area. It will generally be in an open space.
Click to enlargeWhen you find the safe, start drilling, and you will be notified that there are incoming hostiles to that area. Bringing a squad with you is also recommended to make the fighting much easier. When the safe is completely drilled, you will find the Irradiated Gas Canister inside. Take the canister and escape from the area towards an extraction point. Exfil with Gas Canister, and the mission will be completed.
DMZ Alpha Decay Mission Rewards
For completing the mission, you will be awarded the Squad Operators Calling Card and 20,000 XP.
