Best BAL-27 loadouts for MW3 & Warzone
Season 3 Reloaded has landed in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, and it brings the return of the BAL-27 Assault Rifle. Eagle-eyed fans of Call of Duty will recognise this weapon from Advanced Warfare, and they’ll be pleased to know that it’s still an absolute laser beam in MW3.
I’ve spent a couple of hours grinding up this weapon to max level already, and I’ve put together a couple of loadouts that I’ve found absolutely melt the competition.

The BAL-27 already has extremely good base stats when it comes to recoil control, and these attachments push those capabilities even further. With these attachments equipped, you’ll find that you’re able to maintain pinpoint accuracy when firing on full auto, letting you pop heads from afar.
With the decent fire rate, equipping the 60 Round Magazine to the BAL-27 helps a tonne as you can flick between targets quickly without running out of ammo. It also helps as the reload time is fairly lengthy on this weapon, so having more in each mag can often mean the difference between life and death.
I considered putting a scope on the BAL-27, but to be perfectly honest, the iron sights are more than adequate for locating targets in busy firefights. It benefits much more to equip a fifth attachment that helps to rein in that recoil, but you can utilise my Warzone loadout, which has n optic, if you prefer.

I’ve kept my Warzone loadout for the BAL-27 almost exactly the same as its multiplayer counterpart, as the build works extremely well in both gameplay scenarios.
The only change I’ve made is swapping out the XTEN Havoc 90 muzzle attachment for the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x optic, as I find it extremely helpful to be able to track enemies at the medium distances Warzone often tasks you with.
Other than that, you can still enjoy the laser-focused accuracy that the BAL-27 has to offer, with a decent amount of manoeuvrability and a good fire rate. Just be careful with your reloads - they take a while, so initiate them with care! I got caught with my pants down far too many times than I’d like to admit while testing the weapon out for this article.
