Albedo's Elemental Skill, Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma, scales with this DEF stat. When we talk about the best weapons for any playable unit in Genshin Impact, the answer is usually their featured weapons. Genshin Impact is a gacha-game that cleverly markets its playable characters and weapons to maximize sales. However, when it comes to Albedo, we have an exception. The best weapons for Albedo are the four-star sword Cinnabar Spindle and the three-star sword, Harbinger of Dawn.

When it comes to five-star weapons, you can use swords like the Primordial Jade Cutter. But, it is better that you use the Cinnabar Spindle or the alternative, Harbinger of Dawn, as their weapon skills go well with Albedo's character kit.

When you use the Cinnabar Spindle sword on Albedo, you get a 69% increased DEF%. Whereas the weapon skill, Spotless Heart, increases Albedo's Elemental Skill, Abiogenesis: Solar Isotoma's damage based on 40% of DEF. This DMG bonus effect takes place once every 1.5 seconds. On the other hand, when you use the Harbinger of Dawn on Albedo, you get a whopping 46.9% increase in CRIT DMG. Moreover, Harbinger of Dawn's weapon skill, Vigorous, increases the CRIT Rate% by 14% if Albedo's HP is over 90%. That too, at base refinement. You can further increase the CRIT Rate% by having an R2 to R5 Refinement Harbinger of Dawn. 

The Primordial Jade Cutter is also a great weapon for Albedo, granted you own the said weapon. If not - you have to spend a lot of Primogems on the weapon's banner, Epitome Invocation when Primordial Jade Cutter appears on the banner as one of the featured weapons. You can use the Primordial Jade Cutter on Albedo to increase his CRIT Rate% by 44.1%.

The weapon skill of the Primordial Jade Cutter is also great though it doesn't fit well with what we are aiming for Albedo. Primordial Jade Cutter's weapon skill, Protector's Virtue, increases the wielder's HP by 20%, and it also gives an ATK% boost based on 1.2% of the wielder's max HP at base refinement.

There is a very low chance that you don't own the Harbinger of Dawn or the Cinnabar Spindle swords in Genshin Impact. Still, if that is the case, you can use any craftable sword or battle pass weapon, like The Black Sword, to manage the CRIT Rate, ATK, CRIT DMG, and DEF stats. 

Best Artifacts For Albedo

The best artifact for Albedo is the four pieces of the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set that you can obtain from the Slumbering Court domain found on Seirai Island, in the Inazuma region of Teyvat. Apart from that, you can also use the Archaic Petra artifact set to increase Albedo's Geo DMG. 

Here are the stat bonus that you get on using the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set:

• 2-Piece Bonus: DEF +30%
• 4-Piece Bonus: A character equipped with this Artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s. 
• When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

Here are the stat bonus that you get on using the Archaic Petra artifact set:

• 2-Piece Bonus: Geo DMG Bonus +15%
• 4-Piece Bonus: Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element for 10s. Only one form of Elemental DMG Bonus can be gained in this manner at any one time.

For the Burst DPS build, you can go for two pieces of Archaic Petra or Husk of Opulent Dreams combined with two pieces of the Noblesse Oblige artifact set. For the Geo Support build, you can use four pieces of the Tenacity of the Millelith artifact set or four pieces of the Archaic Petra artifact set. For DPS build, you have to use four pieces of the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set, which is the best artifact for Albedo till now.

Here are the stat bonus that you get on using the Tenacity of Millelith artifact set:

• 2-Piece Bonus: HP +20%
• 4-Piece Bonus: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20%, and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Here are the stat bonus that you get on using the Noblesse Oblige artifact set:

• 2-Piece Bonus: Elemental Burst DMG +20%
• 4-Piece Bonus: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

To attain Albedo's aforementioned builds in Genshin Impact, you have to prioritize upgrading his stats based on the following order: DEF > Geo DMG Bonus > CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG> ATK. Also, make sure you have the CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG ratio around 1:3 or 1:4. Balancing these attributes vary on a case-to-case basis.
