Promising to be an exciting arcade racer with beautiful retro visuals, New Star GP looks to be their most ambitious title yet - making players curious about when it will launch, how it plays, what platforms it's on, and even trailers to get a look in.
If 90s-style motorsport games are what you're after, then we've got all the New Star GP details you'll need right here.
Do we know when New Star GP will launch?
Although New Star GP released in early access on Steam on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, we still haven't got a full launch timeframe just yet - other than it becoming available sometime in March 2024.
What do we know about gameplay?
New Star GP will have players beginning in the 80s, racing all the way through to the present day. The game will include Elimination Races, Grand Prix, Time Trials, Checkpoint Races, and one-on-one races too.
Events will offer rewards so players can then upgrade their cars as well as perks and pit stop upgrades too.
Once you complete a decade, you move on to the next, which will offer more challenges for you to overcome. New Star GP will allow players to explore tracks all around the world from Italy to Austria and more.
New Star GP platforms
Following New Star GP's early access launch on PC, the game's full March 2024 release will see the racer on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC Steam platforms.
Will New Star GP have multiplayer?
Yes, New Star GP will have multiplayer features for those who want to play the game with pals. You will be able to play races with up to four players, and the game also includes local split-screen co-op, too.
Multiplayer will be easy to pick up and go - whether you wish to just complete one race or a whole season with a buddy is up to you.
New Star GP trailer
We have only had one trailer for New Star GP so far, but as can be seen below, it highlights the unique style of the game.
From this trailer, we get a good look at the cars, the UI, the tracks and how races will look in the game. Hopefully, it won’t be long before we can play New Star GP, as racing games will live and die by how good it feels to play.
