Not sure how to start the Whisper mission in Destiny 2? The Into the Light update has returned some fan favourites to the game, including the Whisper of the Worm exotic mission.

The Whisper mission was originally initiated in Io, a planet that's no longer accessible, so fans might be curious how it works in the current game. Here's what you need to know.

How to start the Whisper mission

The Into the Light update has added a new node to the Destination menu, which is where the Whisper mission can be found. This node can be found on the right side of the screen, opposite the node for the H.E.L.M.

Select this node and you'll find options for all of the Into the Light content, including Onslaught and the Hall of Champions. You'll find the Whisper icon in the bottom left of this screen.

Once you select it, you can then choose the regular or Legend version of the mission.

The regular version is power level 1810, has a 40-minute time limit, and rewards you with the Whisper of the Worm exotic sniper rifle.

The Legend version is power level 1830, has a 20-minute time limit, and rewards you with the catalyst for the Whisper of the Worm.
