Before you can invite an NPC to live in your village, you need to create one! To start your own village, you must build a Village Square. And to build a Village Square, you need 10 Wood and 10 Granite.
Click to enlargeIf you're in Survival mode, you won't be able to make a Village Square until you've spoken to the Cuddle Team Leader and completed introductory objectives like building a Campfire, a Simple Shack, and a Bed.
Once you unlock the recipe for a Village Square, build it, and visitors will begin dropping by your village!

They'll only accept your proposition if you have a spot for them to sleep, so make sure you have a free bed available before extending the offer! Once an NPC officially settles in, you'll earn credit toward one of Trailblazer Tai's Quests and be a step closer to unlocking that free skin.

Cuddle Team Leader is the first NPC you'll encounter, but you can invite Meowscles, Peely, Aura, Raptor, Beef Boss, and an array of other Characters to live in your village in LEGO Fortnite.
Which NPCs visit your Village Square is mostly random, so you'll need some luck to find your favourites. To increase your odds of running into a particular NPC, upgrade your village to unlock Must-See Destination, which allows rarer explorers to visit your base. You can also scour the world for lost explorers!
