The latest VALORANT update is here, and the patch notes are full of changes to Agents like Jett and Deadlock that you definitely won't want to miss.
While the regularity of VALORANT's updates means that they aren't always packed to the brim with changes, they do offer adjustments to key characters both generally and within Team Deathmatch, alongside ever-appreciated bug fixes to help the game run smoothly.
VALORANT 7.10 patch notes
Check out the latest changes and fixes arriving in the latest VALORANT update below:
Agent updates
- Deadlock
- Anyone caught by GravNet will now be debuffed indefinitely until they remove it
- Anyone caught by GravNet will now be affected by increased gravity and a reduction in mobility (for example, GravNet now reduces Jett's Tailwind distance)
- GravNet removal time increased from 0.85 seconds to 1.5 seconds
- GravNet radius increased from 6m to 8m
- Jett
- Jett's third-person animations while Blade Storm (X) is equipped have been adjusted to help with combat clarity. It should now be easier to understand her movement when she's running and when she's throwing knives
Team Deathmatch Agent updates
- Reyna
- Leer (C) cooldown increased from 44 seconds to 51 seconds
- Empress (X) will now charge 14% slower
- Fade
- Prowler (C) cooldown decreased from 44 seconds to 36 seconds
- Seize (Q) cooldown decreased from 51 seconds to 48 seconds
These changes will only apply to the Team Deathmatch game mode, and I've certainly noticed both Agents adjusted here feel a little too imbalanced either way when outside the confines of the traditional competitive setting.
Performance
- Presets have been added to the stats page
Bug fixes
- General
- Fixed a bug where reverb was not being applied reliably to some types of sounds like footsteps and gunshots
- Fixed an issue where Viper's Pit (X) did not correctly block vision for enemies on the minimap and megamap
- Fixed issues with Fade's Prowler (C) passing through certain objects
- Player behaviour
- Fixed an issue where the report button text was cut off for the Arabic language on the Player Report menu
