What is the VALORANT 7.01 patch notes release date?
VALORANT patch 7.01 will be released on July 11, which is today as of writing this.
Expect servers to go down for a short period as the update initiates.

VALORANT 7.01 patch notes: Premier Ignition
The VALORANT Premier Ignition Stage is now live as part of patch 7.01, seeing the first open beta period come to an end.
Everyone will be starting from scratch with Ignition, so players will need to make or join a new team. However, the team name and match history will be carried over from this stage to the Premier launch in August.
Enrolment for Premier Ignition will run until July 20, which is when matches will begin. Matches in this stage will continue until August 12, with playoffs on August 13 where teams can earn the crown as the best team in their respective divisions.
To qualify for the playoffs, teams will need a Premier Score of at least 375. For more info on the Premier Ignition stage, you can check out the FAQ here.

VALORANT 7.01 patch notes: agent updates
- We've updated the ability action icons to be more consistent across all Agents and abilities that have a common cast paradigm or output. We've also added new ones where it was necessary. These icons appear above your equipped ability.
- We’ve added voiceover line interactions between Gekko and Deadlock.
- We also have a VALORANT agent tier list, so you know who to play during the current episode and act.
VALORANT 7.01 patch notes: Player behaviour updates
- We added in-game bans for repeated AFK, Friendly Fire, and Queue Dodge in Competitive and Unrated modes.
- People who are text-muted in real-time will now also be voice-muted for the entire match.
