It’s been a long time coming, but a new support hero has finally emerged in Overwatch 2 - this time under the moniker of Lifeweaver. It’s always an exciting time when a new hero is introduced to the fray, as they always manage to completely shift up the way people play the game.

Arriving in Season 4, let's get into the complete list of Lifeweaver abilities in Overwatch 2

Operating as a Support character, you can expect the set Lifeweaver abilities to be based around healing and assisting teammates in matches - as showcased in his gameplay trailer. Of course, they will also come equipped with their damage-dealing moves, but that’s not the main port of call.

Here is every ability Lifeweaver can use in Overwatch 2:

  • Healing Blossom
    • Type - Primary
    • Effect - Can be charged to perform a healing burst. Release to heal your targeted teammate.
  • Thorn Volley
    • Type - Secondary
    • Effect - Your main damage attack. Will rapidly fire a spread of projectiles.
  • Petal Platform
    • Type - Ability
    • Effect - Creates a platform that your team, or even enemies, can use to spring up into the air on.
  • Rejuvenating Dash
    • Type - Ability
    • Effect - Dash forwards in the direction you're facing to heal yourself.
  • Life Grip
    • Type - Ability
    • Effect - Will grab and pull an enemy towards you, protecting them as they are transported.
  • Parting Gift
    • Type - Passive
    • Effect - Whenever you die, you will drop an item that heals whoever picks it up - including enemies.
  • Tree of Life
    • Type - Ultimate
    • Effect - Place a tree that can be used to heal allies and continues to for as long as it is in play.

And that’s all of Lifeweaver’s abilities in Overwatch 2. It's a widespread kit that makes him a versatile character to use, and perhaps a pretty powerful support character when it comes to healing and disengaging from skirmishes.

Overwatch 2 Season 4 begins on Tuesday, 11 April 2023. With its arrival, we will see the release of Lifeweaver. Until then, memorize these abilities to gain an advantage in battle when the time comes.

That's all you need to know about the complete list of Lifeweaver abilities in Overwatch 2.
