How to visit Azkaban
Part of the early sections of the story, you will be able to visit Azkaban in Hogwarts Legacy when you reach the quest, Prisoner of Love. However, this quest is exclusive to players in Hufflepuff house.
This means if you're in Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, or Slytherin, you won't be able to visit Azkaban. If you're in Hufflepuff, though, with a single prerequisite of being at Level 5, you'll start on a path that first takes you to speak to the portrait of Eldritch Diggory - a former Minister for Magic.
Eventually, you'll head off to visit his descendant, Helen Thistlewood - an ex-auror who wants to take the opportunity to revisit an unsolved case that led to the wrongful longtime imprisonment of a girl named Anne. To get the answers you seek on your mission to understand your new powers, Helen will apparate you right into the entrance to the cells of Azkaban.
The first proper look at Azkaban outside of the Harry Potter film, The Order of the Phoenix, the prison is as eerie as you can imagine. With darkened stone corridors and the cries of prisoners echoing throughout, you can almost feel the chill in the air before the Dementors appear.
Without going into full spoilers regarding the interaction with Anne herself, it's a short but gripping scene that's worth the wait.
