Building one of the best starter teams in EA FC 24 can really help you get off the ground in Ultimate Team, as you'd be surprised how many fantastic cheap players there are in leagues like LaLiga or the Premier League.
We don't all need the best players in every position, and while Evolutions can help you build a squad of unique stars, sometimes all you need is a bunch of cheap and meta gold cards. At this stage of the game, there are thankfully plenty of options to choose from, so you can jump straight into Champs and aim to complete early on.

William Saliba is by far the best budget centre back you can buy, and there might even be an Evolution that you can put him in to further enhance his ability for free.
The front four of Adeyemi, Malen, Núñez, and Werner are absolutely rapid too, and using them correctly will leave any defence - particularly one with a high line - in the dust.
Perhaps the only weakness of this squad is the weaker defence in midfield, as Emre Can is really the only defensively-minded player beyond the back four. However, I've found that using the best custom tactics can really help cover for this, as you'll have the pitch covered to stop any counterattacks and neuter any wide play too.

The main weakness with this squad though is its potential for upgrade. It only just reaches the maximum chemistry threshold by using any Portuguese manager with the Liga F league, so you can't really be too flexible when you're choosing to replace certain players.

This squad also gives you excellent scope for upgrades, as there are a number of excellent cards like Sophia Smith or Trinity Rodman from the NWSL that you can work towards for not a significant extra cost.
