The release of the EA FC 24 web and companion app is always one of the most anticipated moments of the year, and we've got the release date for you right here alongside our predictions for the features.
While you are unable to actually 'play' EA FC 24 in the web app, it does let you get a fantastic head start in the game's Ultimate Team mode - especially if you are an adept trader. Furthermore, with this being the first year after the name change, there could be further adjustments to the system, bringing exciting new features into the fold.

EA FC 24 web app release date
Click to enlargeThe release date for the EA FC 24 web app has been officially confirmed to be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 - giving players two days to prep their Ultimate Team before they can jump into the full game with early access.
We do not currently know what time the web app will drop, and past years have not had too much regularity so we can't make a firm prediction. It will likely be around 6pm BST - but it could drop earlier or later depending on what EA decides to do.

EA FC 24 companion app predicted release date
Click to enlargeFollowing on from the web app, the EA FC 24 companion app release date is scheduled for Thursday, September 21, 2023. There is once again no official time that we expect this to arrive, so make sure to check back here again to stay up to date with the latest news.
You will also need to download a new app for this year's edition - so don't wait around for an update to the current FIFA 23 companion app as that will not happen.

EA FC 24 web app predicted features

- Objectives
- SBCs
- Transfer Market
- Squad Builder
- Store
From what we have seen so far regarding the new features in Ultimate Team, there isn't anything that would become available within the web app. You obviously won't be able to play the game, so that rules out Squad Battles, Division Rivals, Weekend League, Friendlies, and Draft, leaving all of the 'menu' features that players love.
Typically, any pre-order packs also become available during the web app period, so you can open them to give you a good head start in the market. You will definitely want to make some adept trades if you're looking to build your coin balance though, as there will be no other way of increasing your balance.
