Persona 6 hype launches into overdrive as game details leak
RPG fan circles everywhere are wondering what's next for the Persona. The series of remakes that has led us to Persona 3 stepping back into the spotlight has done massively well for the series, but what it has spelled more than anything else is that fans are ready for the next chapter.
So, what can we expect? Well, rumours have indicated that Persona 6 is on the way, and it would make sense given the long wait since Persona 5. Now, as more leaks are making their way onto the internet, hype is starting to crank into overdrive.
Persona 6 promo material leaks
Players are picking up on a number of leaks from notorious franchise insider Midori, and they all point to what could be a Persona 6 reveal coming very soon. All at once, Midori has revealed a wealth of minor details.
First, they unveiled a look at the logo that the Atlus team has been using behind the scenes in the game's development, before going on to add that the game itself is codenamed XRD768. Personal 6 apparently entered full development before any of the recently launched remakes and side-game for Persona 5.
One fan points out that the internal logo looks like it could reflect the Ouroboros or even be read as a "0", indicating a game that comes chronologically anything we've seen before, Midori also points out that the logo reflects the themes of the game, stating that "it is on the edge of yin and yang."
It's all very vague and hard to make sense of at this point, but Midori's ability to access this information has begun to paint a picture, and it hints that they're coming close to the surface, which means that a reveal could be coming soon.
While it's all speculative right now, we need to take it with a pinch of salt. One thing's for sure - Persona fans deserve something.
