Monster Hunter's 20th Anniversary celebrations continue with Secretlab collab
Monster Hunter fans are eating well right now. Between a new season of Monster Hunter Now, a steep climb in player numbers for Monster Hunter World, and the small matter of Monster Hunter Wilds' announcement in December, there's arguably never been a better time to be a Monster Hunter fan.
The 20th-anniversary celebrations have led to collaborations with RAID: Shadow Legends and MSI, but now things are getting even more comfortable with a gorgeous new Secretlab crossover showcasing the Elder Dragon Fatalis.
Secretlab's Monster Hunter Fatalis chair looks amazing
The Secretlab TITAN Evo Monster Hunter Fatalis Collection is, as the name suggests, built on the TITAN Evo series which we gave a glowing review to.
The back features Fatalis, or the Black Flame, as a glyph you might see on the in-game map, while you'll find wings on each side of the chair which are "finished with a raised 3D embroidery technique", Secretlab tells me. Fatalis is an OG monster, too, appearing in the first Monster Hunter game back in 2004 - making him an ideal option for the 20th anniversary.
The idea was to make the chair look like it was forged from parts of Fatalis, not unlike Monster Hunter's focus on crafting weapons and armour from fallen enemies. There's even a Fatalis lumbar cushion, too.
It's also worth noting that this is the second Monster Hunter collaboration from Secretlab, but it looks more ambitious than the (admittedly still very cool) Rathalos edition that launched a few years ago - you can see that one below.
We're hoping to have our hands on the Fatalis chair in the coming weeks, so look out for deeper impressions from our resident Monster Hunter fan (it's me).
In the meantime, if you're wondering whether Monster Hunter World or Monster Hunter Rise are right for you, we've got you covered.
