Take-Two Interactive confirms GTA 6 release window for fall 2025
Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that the hotly-anticipated GTA 6 will be released in fall 2025.
That means the game will land at some point between September and December 2025. We don't know an exact release date yet, but this is narrowed down from the vague release window of 2025 that we'd previously been promised.
GTA 6 confirmed for 'fall 2025' release window
The company stated, "Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games' previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI."
It later went on to say that the company is "highly confident" that Rockstar will deliver "unparalleled entertainment" with the new title, which has already earned over 190 million views on its first trailer on YouTube.
There were rumours that we'd be getting some sort of GTA 6 news this week, and while it's not quite another trailer to shine the light on Lucia's male counterpart (rumoured to be called Jason), a loose release window is the next best thing. Following this announcement, could another trailer be just around the corner?
We'll have to wait a little longer for a more exact release date, but this is an exciting update for anyone eager to get their hands on the game. GTA 6 is tipped to be the most important video game of all time, and with its predecessor being arguably the biggest, let's hope the pressure isn't too much.
